How to contact Amazon Customer Service

We get dozens of emails each week asking if we know the toll free 1-800 phone for Amazon and for FBA (the Amazon warehouse, otherwise known as fulfillment by Amazon). The bad news is, there is no phone number for FBA. Sellers are out of luck - the only way to contact them is to start a support ticket.

The good news is, if you're an Amazon customer, you can contact Amazon 3 ways - by email, by "click to call" (log into "My Account" and find the link), or by calling this toll free number (a 1-866 number, not a 1-800 number, but it's still free):

1-866-216-1072 (US only)
1-206-266-2992 (international customers)

I've been looking all over for their toll free number. They must keep it somewhat secret.

FBA drivers in Miami MIA5 are not delivering to the address on the package but are instead leaving the package in the mailbox. The post office is taking the packages and charging the Amazon customer postage to get it back. I was informed after paying 6.80 for a prime package, this practice was increasing, was illegal, and causing friction between Amazon and the USPS. I was also informed if postage wasn't paid, the package would not be sent back to Amazon but put in the 'dead letter' section thereby costing the company not to mention irritating the Amazon customer. I'd certainly think twice about using Amazons delivery service over a dependable option.

I cannot understand why a carrier that can read would bring a package to an address with an apartment number and a telephone number on the label and not ring the bell or call the telephone number yet leave the package in the lobby and designate the package, DELIVERED.
THIS PROCESS, OR LACK OF PROCESS IS UNACCEPTABLE.
