Yes, it appears this is a new policy. FBA charges the seller 5% when an item is returned.Ironically, this applies even if the return was a result of an FBA mistake!

Recently they are charging us 20% restocking fees.
So that means ... if the customer complains for any reason, it's cheaper for us for them to KEEP the book for FREE, than if they try to return it!!
Doesn't add up here. Amazon wins. Customer wins. Sellers lose.
I'm just waiting for the day that customers figure this out & start screwing all the FBA sellers left-and-right.
